It doesn’t matter who you are, what form of gender you’re into, or what your kinks try: Sexting is one of the hottest ways to score switched on and connect with your partner. In fact, Elizabeth Dell, a certified sex educator and founder of the relationship intimacy app Amorus, says sending (and receiving!) sexy texts is one of the best ways to explore intimacy, pleasure, and sex as a whole.
“Human beings are sensual beings just who see fulfillment and you may sexuality. Sexting try speaking of you to fulfillment on their behalf of one’s alternatives,” she demonstrates to you. “More 80 per cent out-of grownups use the devices to own aroused speak.”
What makes sexting so popular, Dell says, is that it lets you try out intimate records together-and figure out what converts each other to the-in a low-stakes environment. “You can play with fantasy, and experiment/indulge in a safe space.”
While the concept sounds pretty great (exploring hopes and dreams without having to move or put on pants? Yes, pls), it’s a lil confusing trying to narrow down what, exactly, constitutes a sext.
